I am looking for disabled showers but am worried over pricing as I fear that the special nature of the shower fittings may make them an expensive purchase. I am searching on behalf of an elderly relative that is starting to have trouble getting in and out of the bath without using handles and experiencing a great deal of pain. They would like to have a shower put into their bathroom instead and I am willing to carry out the work, but the potential cost is a worry for my relative. Can anyone tell me from experience if there is a variety of suppliers of this type of bathroom suite and whether there is a choice of different equipment to suit a budget and a particular disability? If there is a suite which allows for entering the shower in a seated position and swinging in that would be most suitable, but the price is also a consideration.
